“ Best tasting coffee in town and easily the best place to go for coffee in the Domain. Baristas are super friendly and get to know the regulars. Some days are super busy and certain customers take too long to get their orders in and get out of the way, but you can’t blame Houndstooth for that. ”

“ Friendly atmosphere for a Sunday morning. It’s often hit or miss in the Domain. Moments after I arrived, the place filled up to about half-way. Good coffee, with a small variety of selections. The staff were thoughtful and made light conversation, which I always enjoy even if I’m not in the best of moods. It’s located on Rock Rose near 4 other coffee spots, but the vibe is unique enough that it works. Keep that in mind for parking though, there are plenty of garages to park in but they fill up and a lot of spots are reserved for valet. There’s maybe 1 or 2 tables outside, but it’s dog friendly inside so still worth bringing the pups. They tend to have the standard Austin breakfast tacos, but it’s nice to know there’s actual food and not only pastries. I’m a fan, it’s nice to not have to face downtown traffic to enjoy some Houndstooth. @ianofAustin approved ”
